How to find the perimeter of a rectangle ?

Perimeter of a rectangle = Sum of the distance of all the sides                                                                                                       

                                       = AB length + BC width + CD length + DA width

But in rectangle; AD length = CD length & BC width = DA width. So;

                                       =  length + width + length + width

  Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(length+width)
